Cocktail Recipe: Bloody Mary

Who would’ve thought that vodka and tomato juice would equal a good time. We did! And that’s why we’re recommending you try this classic, yet trendy, Bloody Mary recipe. It’s an excellent blend of savory, salty and spicy flavorful notes that create an all-time favorite drink.

Like all great things, the story behind the origin of the Bloody Mary has a few different leads. But like legends, the classic has also been re-invented into different versions. The Bloody Mary has evolved into the Bloody Maria (with tequila), the Bloody Caesar (where the regular tomato juice is replaced with Clamato) and the Red Snapper (with the vodka replaced by gin) to name a few. Yet with so many variants, everyone still finds themselves back at the time-old favorite – the traditional Bloody Mary.

  • 15 ml fresh lemon juice

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

  • 45 ml vodka
